Bounty of Napa Valley

These paintings were done for an exhibit at All Seasons Bistro, a wonderful little restaurant in Calistoga that uses the freshest ingredients.  I focused on local fruits, vegetables, and the trees that produced them.  All are encaustic...beeswax with pigment.

Painting Trips to France

In 2009, I was invited to be in the Parisot Art Festival.  Unfortunately I broke my right wrist and couldn't go until the following year in August, 2010.  What a great experience to share with my dear friend Christiane Tsouo-Harvey who is a wonderful painter and the co-organizer of the event.  In June, 2007, I co-lead a group of artists on a 2-week painting trip in the south of France.  Based in Bormes, we painted the lovely town of Bormes and visited Collobrieres, Hyeres, Le Lavandou, Port Cros, and St. Tropez.  I'm also including several of the paintings I did from a trip to the same area in June, 2005.
