Like many artists, I do other work for additional income.  I have over 30 years of experience in the computer industry in various capacities including technical and marketing writer, editor, graphics artist, and web site designer. 

I offer the following services to artists:

• Web site creation and maintenance

I charge by the hour for this service.  A typical web site might cost $900-1500 and generally takes 2-4 weeks.  The cost depends on things like how organized your materials are, whether you have digital scans of your work, and how large the site is.  You can see examples of my web site designs by going to these sites:

• Scans of your slides on CD

I have a Nikon Coolscan 4000 multipass scanner that makes accurate scans of slides.  If you'd like to archive your work, having your slides scanned and the information "frozen" on CD is a good way to permanently store your work.  Scans are also used for web sites and are handy for sharing with your friends and family.

• Designing your exhibit announcements

I can make your announcements distinctive!  It's fairly easy to do your own postcards, but if you want something that stands out and represents you, I can help.

• Writing/designing your art materials

Your art materials - resume, artist statement, and so on - reflect who you are as well as your level of professionalism.   If you need help with writing your resume, artist statement, prints of your work, or formatting them in a distinctive way, I can help write and design them for you.

• Prints of your work on high-quality archival paper

I can create high-quality prints of your work which can be very helpful for showing galleries and promoting your work.
